Since Roe vs Wade in 1973 we have been very divided on the issue of abortion here in America, and all over the world there is a great divide on the morality of abortion. In today’s world, unlike 1973, some groups have went so far as to push for late term abortion and even sell aborted fetuses to research groups for money (Planned Parenthood). Many people today and many young mothers are looking for answers on abortion and how to deal with an unintended pregnancy but are left to deal with this issue with little or no help from society in some cases not even realizing that there are more choices to abortion, such as adoption to a loving couple. However what God says is very clear. See below just what God does say straight from the Bible.
Abortion is a sin against God and His perfect law. Exodus 20:13
Abortion is a sin against yourself. Romans 6:21
Abortion is a sin against another human being. I Samuel 2:25
Abortion, as commonly used, is murder. Gen 42:22 and Gen 9:6
Abortion is a sin against society. Proverbs 14:34
Why can’t ignorant man learn from an all-wise God? At the moment of conception God creates another human life. Psalms 139:16
Don’t forget your body does not belong to you—it is God’s. And for Christians your body is a temple in which the Holy Spirit dwells. For the Christian, abortion is a matter of the life or death of a human being made in God’s image.
For all involved in abortion—God can and will forgive you. You must acknowledge God’s condemnation, you must truly repent of your sin and ask for forgiveness, and you need to give your life to Christ. Otherwise, hell waits for you!
