Violence is not a respecter of person, young – old / male – female.
Violence is everywhere, our home, our community, and in our workplace.
It is defined by the World Health Organization as the intentional use of physical force or power, threatened or actual, against one’s self, another person, group, or community. Inflicting the likelihood of bodily injury, death, or psychological harm. The exposure can have immediate and long term effect.

No matter how intense your fears are, talk to God about them and he will give you courage and the strength to endure the circumstances. You do not have to go through these experiences alone. He will sustain you. Find comfort by reading your Bible.
Psalm 27… The Lord is my light and salvation – so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble.
Psalm 31…  O Lord I have come to you for protection, don’t let them hurt me, save me, for you do what is right. Listen for me, rescue me quickly. Be my rock  for protection, a fortress where I will be safe. For the honor of your name will lead me out of this danger. I’m trusting in you oh God, my future is in your hands. In your unfailing love, rescue me. So be strong and courageous for all of you who put your hope in the Lord.
Zephaniah 3:17… Don’t be afraid, for your God is living among you, He is your mighty Savior.
God be with you.
