It would appear the word UNITY is no longer recognized as a viable word in this world, certainly in  this country. Countries cannot find solutions to their problems, political unrest is rampant, economies are failing, health care is divided, financial issues unsolved, fatherless homes / divorce is the common place,  and felonies are the flavor of the month. Confusion, strife, division, hate, lawlessness, dishonesty seem to be the heir apparent to unity. Where did the ability of working together and seeking a compromise, has it vanished? Break down those walls of hostility for the sake of one another.
Despite all of the sin and confusion in this world today I find it very comforting to know that our God reigns. We have the victory in Christ Jesus. In the book of Matthew He gives us two commandments verses 22: 37 – 40. First, We are to love your God with all of your heart, with all of your soul, and with all of your mind. Second, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. Cannot Jesus make it anymore explicit? Are these two commandments not the definition of unity?
This country, this world needs is an attitude adjustment, a change of heart, repentance for our behavior. Churches and pastors need to unite and pray as one, families must bond together, support one another. Unity and harmony must be fostered within the home.Take this new found love into the world and make the changes that are required and restore unity for all.
Please read a few of these Bible verses below. They will comfort you and bring you assurance that all is well and God loves you more than you realize. He has your best interest at heart.
