Have you shared the Gospel recently—or ever?  Would you like to?  We as Christians are commanded to go and share Christ with others (Mark 16:15).  Here is a simple way to do it—just five points to share—or you can copy this and hand it out to those you are trying to reach.  This information is adapted from Evangelism Explosion International.

Presenting the Gospel:

  1. Grace:

        Heaven is a free gift.

It is not deserved, not earned, not merited.

        Romans 6:23, Proverbs 14:12, Titus 3:5

This becomes more clear when you understand what the

        Bible says about man.

  1. Man:

        Man is a sinner.

        He cannot save himself.

        Romans 3:10, Romans 3:23, Ephesians 2:9

The problem of man trying to save himself becomes even

acute when we look at what the Bible says about God.

  1. God:

God is merciful—therefore does not want to punish us.

God is just—therefore must punish sin.

        John 3:16, I John 4:19, Jeremiah 31:3, Psalms 89:32

God solved this problem in the most amazing way by sending

            Jesus Christ into the world.

  1. Christ:

        Who He is—the infinite God-man.

What He did—He paid for our sins with his own blood

and is alive to prove it.  He purchased a place in heaven

for us which He offers freely as a gift.

        John 1:14, John 1:17, Isaiah 9:6, Hebrews 8:12, I John 1:7

How do we receive this gift?

  1. Faith:

What it is not—mere intellectual assent or temporal

        faith.

What it is—“trusting in Jesus Christ alone for our

        salvation”.

        James 2:19, Acts 16:31, John 3:36, Ephesians 2:8-9

For those who do not know Jesus personally they must:  repent of their sins, transfer their trust to God, receive Jesus Christ as Savior, and yield to His lordship.

The key verse for assurance of salvation is John 6:47—“Truly, truly I say to you, he who believes has eternal life”.

Go forth with boldness!
