Why should we pray when we think God is not answering our prayers?
Jesus said to his disciples, “Have faith, you must truly believe and have no doubt in your heart,” God does answer our prayers. We need to be persistent, don’t quit asking, He will answer in His time and in His way, He already knows what is best for us. God wants us to come with confidence and boldness to seek his mercy and find his grace when we need it most.
Some people pray as a last resort, instead prayer should be our first response to any and all situations. God’s power is infinite, He created this earth, He created you, He knows your enter most thoughts, don’t deny His ability to hear and respond to your prayer life.
Let me suggest the following prayer, you can revise it to your special need!
Holy Father, I want to avoid the sin that often entangles me, I desire to see clearly the righteous acts that you would have for me to do. I pray that you would strengthen my faith as I focus on you, and that you would give me wisdom to align my priorities properly. I want my heart to be in sync with your heart, so help me to sow righteousness in all that I do today.
You have given me far more than I deserve. Help me to see what I can give to others instead of what I can receive.
Let me seek to forgive others as you have forgiven me. Help me to restore broken relationships, open my eyes to see the need of others. Bring peace, joy, and harmony into my life.
