Have we ever asked ourselves ‘ Do we have a critical spirit and a judgmental attitude? ‘ Do we judge others due to our own selfish interests? Do we evaluate ourselves and have a tendency to be critical of others? Do we hide our self esteem and frustrations by finding faults with others? By judging and criticizing others we hide our own hypocrisy. When we judge others we invite judgment upon ourselves. Have we asked ourselves ‘why are we so judgmental or have we tried to discover the reasons for our having a critical spirit? The Bible is very clear, judgment will be merciless to one that has shown no mercy to others. James 2:13. God alone reserves the right to judge each person. Romans 14:4. If we truly understand the judgement we deserve from God we would be less inclined to judge others.
Some suggestions for cures!!!
Ask Jesus Christ to forgive us of our sins. Repent from our sinful ways. Ask God to replace our critical spirit with a caring mind and loving heart. In return we will receive forgiveness by mercy and grace, restoring our peace, joy, understanding, and hope for eternal life.
We need to learn and exercise in our faith, what it means to freely receive God’s love through mercy and grace so we can freely give to our fellow man in return.
