What is Grace?  –    Do we need Grace?
‘My Grace is sufficient for you’  2 Corinthians 9

Grace is God’s favor for the unworthy. God is willing to forgive us of our sins and bless us with his abundant grace despite the fact we don’t deserve it.   We are born sinners, guilty of all unrighteousness, spiritually dead, unclean, destined for everlasting punishment. But then came grace, God’s mercy for us. There is no way one can enter the kingdom of Heaven other than by God’s grace. Grace is the essence of the gospel. Grace has victory over sin. Grace is a free gift from God, nothing is owed in return. The gift of salvation costs the sinner nothing, but the price Jesus paid was at a great cost. He suffered a painful death on the cross for our sins, he took our place because he loves us unconditionally. Who are we without Christ, who are we with Christ? God’s grace is ours forever.
